on the run...

ok. not that i want to brag about my fitness level huhuh. or that i am proud of myself for participating in my first timed race. but then again, yes i do want to brag and i am proud of myself for : a/ getting to the finish line b/doing it despite the weather c/wanting more!!!
so what am i mumbling about? CITY TO SURF one of the biggest charity events in the southern hemisphere. 26,000 people doing it every year. wow, i thought. a must-do for me since i've been stuck in perth for almost two months now, trying to keep myself sane by punting around in trainers, swimsuit and on the bike. call me PINK PUNTER from now on.
so i got to the start line on sunday, raved my engine and went off to the finish. all that for a simple moment of glory to see my NAME among thousands. yeah.
anyway, i guess i'll see some of you soon as i'm most probably spreading my wings again in a long journey back to europe...in a couple of weeks.
and then? who knows.
