jersey cow

what would you do if you lived on a very small island just big enough to be a spot on the map that looks like a pimple that somehow came off the face of the British Isles? Why, of course you'd do anything to prove it is worth the attention - what better way to do it that by luring greedy wallets with a tax eden? or, even better so, by bragging about a local breed of cattle to such an extent that it ends up on the local pound NOTE (next to THE QUEEN!)
Jersey.
it's already been a month since i started dancing with the plates, swinging with the coffee machine swirling-whirling thoughts missing the mountains, feeling my feet itch ready as ever to set off. alas, another eternity has to pass before i'm ready to go back to new zealand...
sometimes i feel like a jersey cow. grazing patiently day in day out. i just hope i won't end up as sunday roast!
by the way, keep your fingers crossed for my first half-marathon ever! hoping for a mass telepathic energy support on November 20th!!!
cheerio.

Be strong sweetheart! Keep the faith and don't become cattle! (Though I'm sure you'd give great milk)
